Sights/Optics: There are no iron sights currently mounted. A Simmons Model 21012M1 3-9x32mm scope is mounted to the receiver. The glass is clear and the scope rates in Very Good condition.

Grip/Stock Configuration & Condition: The furniture is one piece wood with a raised cheekpiece, checkered semi-pistol grip, checkered forend, and a checkered metal Winchester buttplate. The buttplate has no notable wear. The only notable marks on the wood are two pressure dings on the left side just above the trigger guard and a few other minor blemishes. The LOP measures 13.5" from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. There are no chips or cracks. The furniture rates in Very Good Plus condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp with light fouling. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 9.5/10.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its original metal finish. The finish shows no notable blemishes. The screw heads are unmarred and retain turnable slots. The markings are clear and complete. Overall, this rifle rates in Fine Plus condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this firearm. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: This Winchester Miroku Model 52 was manufactured between 1993 and 2002 and represents a modern reproduction of one of the most celebrated target rifles ever produced. Manufactured by Miroku for Winchester, these rifles were built to a very high standard and paid tribute to the legendary original Model 52, often referred to as the "King of the .22s." Miroku's reputation for precision machining and quality craftsmanship made it a natural choice for reproducing this iconic rimfire rifle.

Chambered in .22 Long Rifle with a 24 inch barrel, this bolt action rifle reflects the accuracy-focused heritage of the Model 52 line. A Simmons scope is mounted to the rifle, providing practical optical capability for target shooting and small game use. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 9.5 out of 10, indicating excellent internal condition. The action functions correctly.

This rifle retains approximately 99% of its original metal finish, presenting in very high condition. The furniture rates in Very Good Plus condition with minimal visible handling wear. Overall, this rifle rates in Fine Plus condition and stands as an excellent example of the Miroku-produced Winchester Model 52 reproduction.
