For over 200 years, finely crafted spurs have been the cornerstone of any cowboy's getup. North & Judd was founded in 1832 in New Britain, Connecticut, and produced a wide range of elegant spurs through the 1950s. This pair of Vintage 1950s Cowboy North & Judd Anchor Brand Steel Spurs are in Very Good Condition, with a notable casting flaw at the inner heel of the right spur, some light drying and crazing to the boot straps, and with some light overall age wear evident. Most interestingly, they boast elegant “diamond” pattern embellishments cast into each outer band, sport fully functional 5 point star spinning rowels, and are marked at the underside of each shank with the classic “anchor brand” maker’s logo of the famous North & Judd. They feature gorgeous 1950s vintage “H.H. HEISER / MAKER / DENVER, COLO.” stamped brown leather boot straps with bright metal buckles, measure 2 3/4” wide across the bands, and are a fine example of rare, original Vintage 1950s Cowboy North & Judd Anchor Brand Steel Spurs.
