Sights / Optics: The front sight is a Hi-Viz blade with a green fiber-optic insert pinned to a serrated, ramped base integral to the barrel. The rear sight is a white-outlined square-notch micro-click adjustable for windage and elevation in a base screwed to the topstrap. The topstrap is drilled and tapped under the base. The top-rear of the barrel and the bottom in front of the ejector lug are each drilled and tapped with a picatinny mount installed.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece checkered wood with S&W medallions and smooth diamonds around the screw. The grips have minor handling wear with a few light marks. The checkering is well defined. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips are in Fine condition.

Finish Originality: Original

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 10/10.

Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 96% of its metal finish. The balance is mostly in scattered spots of very minor oxidation. There are some minor scuffs and light handling marks. The action shows light operational wear and the cylinder has a thin turn-line. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this revolver is in Fine-plus condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
