Sights/Optics: The front sight is a beaded blade dovetailed into the barrel. The rear sight is a u-notch dovetailed into the barrel. There is a folding aperture screwed into the upper tang.

Grip/Stock Configuration & Condition: The refinished furniture is two piece wood with a straight comb, straight-wrist grip, smooth forend, and a smooth metal Remington buttplate. The buttplate has been scrubbed and is now in the white with light pitting. The furniture shows pressure dings, scuffs, scratches. Many of the blemishes have been sanded and finished over. The LOP measures 12.75" from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. There are cracks running from the upper and lower tang. The furniture rates in Good condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is grey and the rifling is worn. There is heavy pitting scattered throughout the bore. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 3/10.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 20% of its metal finish. The finish shows patina, oxidation, scrub marks, and scratches. The screw heads show faint tooling and retain turnable slots. The markings are clear and complete. Overall, this rifle rates in Fair condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this firearm. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
