Sights/Optics: The front sight is a metal bead at the muzzle. The receiver is serrated to reduce glare.
Grip/Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks have been sanded and refinished. The two piece wood furniture consists of a fluted straight comb, smooth semi pistol grip, 14 rib/groove forend, and a checkered synthetic Winchester buttplate. The buttplate has light handling wear. The wood shows no notable blemishes other than some excess varnish in the grooves of the forend and a pressure ding on the bottom. The LOP measures 14" from the face of the trigger to the rear of the butt. There are no chips or cracks. The furniture rates in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright with faint streaking. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 9.5/10.
Overall Condition: This firearm retains about 95% of its original finish. The finish shows edge wear, operational wear on the mag tube, freckling on the left side of the receiver, and light scratches. The screw heads are unmarred and retain turnable slots. The markings are clear and complete. Overall, this firearm rates in Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this firearm. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: This Winchester Model 12 was manufactured in 1959 and qualifies as a Curio and Relic firearm. Introduced in 1912 by Winchester Repeating Arms, the Model 12 became one of the most successful pump-action shotguns ever produced. Often referred to as "The Perfect Repeater", it earned an unrivaled reputation for its smooth action, robust construction, and exceptional reliability. The Model 12 served sportsmen, law enforcement, and military personnel for decades and remains one of the most collectible American pump shotguns.
Chambered for 12 Gauge 2.75 inch shells with a fixed full choke 30 inch barrel, this shotgun is particularly well suited for waterfowl hunting, turkey hunting, and trap shooting where tight patterns are desired. Its forged steel receiver, internal hammer design, and silky-smooth action exemplify Winchester's classic craftsmanship. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 9.5 out of 10, indicating excellent internal condition. The action functions correctly.
