Original WWII 535th Bomb, 8th Army Air Force Squadron Patch
This an original WWII American Made 535th Bomb Squadron Patch. The 535th Bomb Squadron was assigned to the 381st Bomb Group (Heavy) in the 8th AAF and operated in the European Theater in WWII from June 1943 to June 1945. The squadron flew B-17's from England to bomb strategic targets on the continent. The patch is chenille on felt construction. Color is Very Good and there is only minor mothing. Diameter: Approx. 6 3/8". Does not glow under a black light. est. $300-$500
