Original WWII Named / Inscribed Caterpillar Club Gold Pin
This an original WWII era Caterpillar Club Gold pin named (jeweler inscribed) to "SGT. J. SMART". The award was invented by Leslie Irvin's "Air Chute Company" as a way of recording the names of individuals whose lives were saved by the parachute during a "bailout". The pin and clasp are complete and work well. Very little discoloration. 3/4" OAL.
