Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated blade with a red fiber optic insert and is dovetailed into the slide. The rear sight is a Heinie square notch with a serrated rear face and vertical front face for slide racking.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are black G-10 panels. There are some scattered light handling marks. There are no chips or cracks. The grips rate in about Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion. There is light fouling. In this writer's opinion the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. There is very faint operational wear. The balance of the finish is strong and complete throughout. There are a few marks on the rear sight. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The frame-to-slide fit is snug. The trigger is crisp. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: As with any hobby, with the 1911 you can go as far as your pocketbook will take you. Just about every brand has a 1911 on offer and they range from entry-level to high-end, this example is one of the latter. Nighthawk Custom is among a small group of the best manufacturers of custom and semi-custom 1911s in the world including Wilson Combat, Ed Brown and Les Baer. This pistol is a collaboration between Nighthawk Custom and Agency Arms, they have combined for a stunning piece of work. This pistol features aggressive serrations, window cuts, a smoke cerakote finish, penta-topped slide, indexing bump extended beavertail safety, undercut trigger guard, rail, serrated slide stop, serrated safety, and many of the hard edges are beveled. They didn’t have to do all of this, but did because details matter. This 1911 is insane, you need to look at the photos, the machine work is jaw dropping. The premium fluted chamber match grade barrel is chambered for 9mm. The all steel construction should make for a pleasant shooter. All of the features combine for a pistol that is not only damn good looking but should shoot damn well too! This pistol looks nearly brand new and is in Excellent condition. If you’ve been looking to get a premium-quality 1911, you can’t do much better than this.
