Sights/Optics: There are no provisions for iron sights. There is a Leupold VARI-X III 3.5-10x40mm Long Range scope with duplex reticle mounted with two-piece bases and Leupold rings. The glass is clear and the scope rates in Very Good condition.

Grip/Stock Configuration & Condition: The one piece wood stock has a straight comb, checkered semi-pistol grip, checkered forend, and a black rubber Kimber buttpad. There are minimal blemishes present other than a few surface scratches. The LOP measures 13.5" from the face of the trigger to the rear of the butt. There are no chips or cracks. Overall the furniture is in Fine+ condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is mostly bright and the rifling is sharp with stubborn fouling. There is light erosion in the bore. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 7.5/10.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. There are faint surface blemishes, but nothing notable. The markings are clear and complete. Overall, this rifle rates in about Fine condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this firearm. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: This rifle presents in Fine overall condition, retaining approximately 99% of its original finish. The metal surfaces are clean and even with minimal handling evidence, and the stock shows the refined lines and fit associated with Kimber's Classic trim.
