Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated blade fixed to the barrel. The rear sight is a square-notch dovetailed to the slide.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The pistol is equipped with two-piece brown plastic grips featuring molded checkering and High Standard eagle logos at the bottom corners. The grips show only minor handling marks, a few light nicks and scuffs. The checkering is well defined. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips are in Fine condition.

Type of Finish: Blue & Black Alloy

Finish Originality: Original, the slide is serial-matching.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright, the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 10/10.

Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 92% of its metal finish. The finish is thinning at most edges. There are some scattered nicks and scratches, most on the rear of the slide and frame. The action shows light operational wear. The screw head is tool marked with a strong slot. The markings are clear. Overall, this pistol is in Very Good-plus condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Our Assessment: The High Standard Flite-King LW-100 is a lightweight and handy rimfire pistol from one of America’s most respected .22 caliber handgun manufacturers. Built in Hamden, Connecticut during Hi-Standard's peak, the LW-100 was chambered for .22 Short—ideal for low-recoil target shooting, small game, or collecting.

This example sports a 4.5” barrel, giving it an ideal blend of balance and compact profile, perfect for close-range precision work or casual range sessions. The Flite-King design was known for its smooth trigger and excellent craftsmanship, both of which are present in this C&R-eligible piece.
