Sights/Optics: There is no front sight currently attached. The rear sight is a dual aperture integral to the detachable carry handle. There is an NcSTAR 4x22WA scope mounted atop the carry handle. The glass is clear and the scope rates in Very Good condition.

Grip/Stock Configuration & Condition: The forend is a carbine length clamshell handguard. The stock is a collapsible carbine stock. The pistol grip is an A2 style pistol grip. The LOP measures between 10.5" and 14.25" (depending on the stock position) from the front of the trigger to the back of the butt. The furniture shows minimal wear. There are no chips or cracks. This furniture rates in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is mostly bright and the rifling is sharp. There is light scattered oxidation throughout the bore. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 8/10.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. There are minimal blemishes or operational wear. The pins are unmarred and remain fully functional. The markings are clear and complete. Overall, this rifle rates in about Fine condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this firearm. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: This rifle presents in excellent overall condition, retaining approximately 99% of its original matte finish. The exterior surfaces are clean and uniform with only minimal handling evidence, giving the rifle a crisp, well kept appearance. The standard AR-15 configuration provides a familiar, balanced profile suitable for a wide range of uses.

Mechanically, the rifle is sound. The bore rates 8 out of 10, showing good rifling and is in serviceable condition. The action functions correctly with smooth cycling and proper lockup, consistent with DPMS production from this period. Controls are standard AR pattern and operate as intended.

As a 2015 production DPMS A-15 in high cosmetic condition with correct mechanical operation, this rifle represents a solid example of a modern sporting AR-15. It offers dependable performance, clean presentation, and straightforward configuration typical of DPMS Panther Arms rifles from the mid 2010s.
