Grip/Stock Configuration & Condition: The furniture is one piece laminate with a cheekpiece, checkered semi-pistol grip, wide forend, and a textured Remington synthetic buttpad. The buttpad has no visible handling wear. The furniture has no notable blemishes. The LOP measures 13.25" from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. There are no chips or cracks. The furniture rates in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp with stubborn fouling. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 9.5/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its refinish. There are no notable marks in the current finish. The barrel has been fluted and threaded at the muzzle. The screw heads are unmarred and retain turnable slots. The markings are clear and complete. Overall, this rifle rates in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this firearm. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Manufactured by Remington, the VLS (Varmint Laminate Stock) model was designed for exceptional accuracy, featuring a heavy barrel and laminate target-style stock.
Chambered in .17 Remington Fireball with a 26 inch barrel, this rifle is configured for high-velocity varmint and predator hunting with minimal recoil. The barrel has been fluted and threaded at the muzzle with a 5/8x24 thread pitch, both of which are non-factory modifications. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 9.5 out of 10, indicating excellent internal condition with strong rifling. The action functions correctly.
The furniture rates in Excellent condition with minimal visible handling wear. This rifle retains approximately 99% of its original finish, presenting in outstanding overall condition. An RCBS die set is included, adding value for the handloader.
