Barrel Length: 20" free floating inside the handguard. Per the consignor, the upper assembly was assembled by White Oak with a Krieger barrel.

Sights/Optics: The front sight is a non F-marked A2 style front sight post. The rear sight is an A2-style dual aperture fixed into place with a smaller aperture insert in the sight. Per the consignor, it is a White Oak 1/4 MOA pinned sight.

Grip/Stock Configuration & Condition: A Geissele Automatics two stage trigger is installed. The stock is a fixed A2 style with a sling ring. The internal storage compartment has been filled with lead to increase weight for stability and recoil control. The pistol grip is an A2 style. The forend is a rifle length handguard with a lead weight molded inside. The furniture shows minimal wear. There are no chips or cracks. The stock rates in overall Fine-Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp with light fouling. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 9.5/10.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its original metal finish. The rifle weighs around 13 pounds and 15 ounces. The finish shows only light surface blemishes. The markings are clear and complete. Overall, this rifle rates in about Fine Plus condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this firearm. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: This rifle presents in Fine-Excellent overall condition, retaining approximately 99% of its original finish. The exterior surfaces are clean and evenly preserved with minimal handling evidence, and the overall configuration reflects a competition focused, service rifle style build. The 20" barrel gives the rifle a traditional National Match profile with a long sighting plane and steady balance suited to deliberate, accuracy oriented shooting. The barrel is free floated inside the handguard, an important feature that supports consistent harmonics and repeatable point of impact.

Mechanically, the rifle is excellent. The bore rates 9.5 out of 10 with bright steel and sharp rifling, indicating light use. The action functions correctly with smooth cycling and proper lockup. Overall handling is composed and stable, consistent with a rifle built for precision rather than lightweight carbine use.

Consignor states the upper receiver is a White Oak build with a Krieger barrel which has a .223 Wylde chamber, suitable for use with both .223 Remington and 5.56mm NATO. Even without visible markings, the free floated barrel, overall configuration, and build quality align closely with White Oak National Match standards.

As configured, this MR15 represents a high quality competition style AR built to emphasize accuracy and consistency. With excellent finish retention, a strong bore, correct mechanical function, and National Match oriented features, it stands as an attractive example of early 2000s precision AR craftsmanship.
