Sights/Optics: The front sight is a metal bead fixed on top of the rib that runs the length of the barrel.
Grip/Stock Configuration & Condition: The furniture is two piece wood with a straight comb, checkered semi-pistol grip, checkered forend, and a textured Browning buttplate. The buttplate has light handling wear. The furniture shows a couple minor surface scratches and a small pressure ding on the belly. The LOP measures 13.75" from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. There are no chips or cracks. The furniture rates in Fine Plus condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright with light streaking. There is a little bit of build up in the choke. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 9.5/10.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 98% of its original metal finish. There are a few minor surface scratches along with some light finish wear on the magazine tube from cycling the action. The screw heads are unmarred and retain turnable slots. The markings are clear and complete. Overall, this shotgun rates in Fine Plus condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this firearm. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: This Browning Model 12 Grade V is a premium pump-action shotgun that pays tribute to the legendary Winchester Model 12. Produced by Browning and manufactured by Miroku, the Grade V features upgraded wood, enhanced engraving, and the outstanding fit and finish for which Miroku-built Brownings are well known. Chambered in the highly desirable 28 Gauge, it combines elegant presentation with excellent field performance.
Chambered for 28 Gauge 2.75 inch shells with a 26 inch barrel, this shotgun was originally configured with a fixed Modified choke. The barrel has since been threaded to accept Briley Thin Wall choke tubes and includes Improved Cylinder, Light Modified, Modified, and Improved Modified chokes, significantly increasing its versatility for upland hunting and sporting clays. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 9.5 out of 10, indicating excellent internal condition. The action functions correctly.
