Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade integral to a base screwed to the front of the barrel. The rear sight is a square notch adjustable for windage and elevation in a base pinned to the topstrap.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece smooth wood with black-on-silver Ruger medallions. The grips have no notable wear or damage, only light handling marks. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips are in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains 99% of its metal finish. There is no notable wear or damage, only light handling marks. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this pistol is in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes in a two-piece black and red Ruger box with the serial number hand-written on the outside of the lid portion, cardboard shipping carton with the serial number hand-written on the exterior, manual, serial-matched .22 Magnum cylinder wrapped in wax paper, inside a red cloth pouch, itself inside of a small cardboard Ruger box with the serial number hand-written on the outside.
Our Assessment: The Ruger Single-Six is a popular line of single-action revolvers produced by Sturm, Ruger and Co. and was first introduced in 1953. The Single-Six revolvers are known for their classic design and robust construction. The original Single-Six models were chambered in .22 Long Rifle, but Ruger has expanded the line to include other calibers over the years, including .17 HMR and .32 H&R Magnum.
This example was manufactured in 1969 with early features such as a half-cock hammer, three-screw frame, no "warning" marked on the barrel, and has not been returned to the factory for the transfer-bar upgrade. It is a Super Single-Six, convertible between .22 LR and .22 Magnum with the included additional cylinder. Certainly one of the finest examples we have seen, it is complete with its original box and shipping carton, matching conversion cylinder and manual. We don't like using the term "unfired", but would be shocked if this revolver ever saw any use outside the factory. Its desirable configuration and high condition will certainly interest the Ruger collectors, but it should prove to be the same fine shooter it was sold as 57 years ago.
