A rare and highly desirable turn-of-the-century advertising piece from an iconic independent American ballistics manufacturer. This original shipping crate was produced by The Robin Hood Powder Company of Swanton, Vermont, dating strictly between 1898 and 1906, prior to the company’s reorganization into an ammunition company.

The crate is in excellent antique condition with superb display value. The wood displays a rich, naturally aged honey-brown patina with honest wear, minor surface abrasions, and historical staining consistent with age and utilitarian use. The stamped branding and central graphics remain remarkably crisp, dark, and highly legible. Structural integrity is outstanding, with tight joints and no major splitting or structural loss.
