This is a lot of 3 full boxes (2 are sealed), 150 rounds of Vintage 1910s Remington UMC .22 Short Ammo, all of which is headstamped “U”. The boxes have orange labels marked “.22 SHORT R.F. SMOKELESS”, “29 GRS. / BULLET”, and “REMINGTON ARMS UNION METALLIC CARTRIDGE CO.”, along with the classic “REMINGTON / UMC” “red ball” logo. Remington and UMC merged in 1912, and the “REMINGTON ARMS UNION METALLIC CARTRIDGE CO.” marking was changed to a different style in ca. 1920, dating the lot to the mid to late 1910s. One box has the unique plaid background behind the orange top label. There is some scattered edge fraying, softening, and tearing to each box, but overall, the boxes and ammo remain in Good condition considering their age.
