This is a lot of 2 full boxes, 2 partial boxes, 168 rounds of Vintage 1910s Remington UMC .38 S&W Ammo. Two of the boxes are full with 50 rounds each, while the third box contains 42 original rounds, and the fourth box contains 26 original rounds. Three of the boxes are marked “BLACK POWDER” on the side labels, while one box is marked “SMOKELESS” on the top label. The boxes range from Poor to Good condition, with heavy tearing to one box top, and two of the boxes having mismatched tops and bottoms. The ammo is in Good condition. All of the boxes have some combination of Remington UMC markings, along with some style of “REMINGTON ARMS UNION METALLIC CARTRIDGE“. Remington and UMC merged in 1912, and the “REMINGTON ARMS UNION METALLIC CARTRIDGE” marking was changed to a different style in ca. 1920, dating the lot to the mid to late 1910s.
