Sights / Optics: The front sight is tall beaded blade in the dovetail. The rear sight is a Lyman peep. Both are replacements.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a handsome custom checkered piece, with nose cap, pistol grip cap and steel buttplate. The LOP measures 13 1/2" from the front of the trigger to the back of the now brown original plate. The stocks rate in about excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is gray and the rifling is worn. There is very mild erosion in the bore.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 95% of its metal finish. This newer finish has drifted to a light patina. There is some edge wear and a spot of erosion on the frame. The screw heads are attractive. The markings are soft. Overall, this rifle rates in about Fine condition as refinished.

Mechanics: The action functions properly. We did not fire this gun. As with all used firearms, a more thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
