Grip/Stock Configuration & Condition: The furniture is two piece wood with a straight comb, checkered semi-pistol grip, checkered forend, and a checkered synthetic buttplate. The buttplate shows light handling wear. The furniture shows minor pressure dings, drag lines, and surface scratches. The LOP measures 13.75" from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. There are no chips or cracks. The furniture rates in Very Good Plus condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is mostly bright. There are some very light oxidation spots towards the muzzle end of the bore. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 8/10.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 80% of its original metal finish. The finish shows edge wear, light scratches, occasional freckling, and expected operational marks. The screw heads range from lightly tooled to unmarred and retain turnable slots. The markings are clear and complete. Overall, this shotgun rates in Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this firearm. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: This Winchester Model 12 Skeet Grade was manufactured in 1953 and qualifies as a Curio and Relic shotgun. Produced by Winchester, the Model 12 is widely regarded as one of the finest pump-action shotguns ever built. The Skeet Grade variant was specifically configured for competitive skeet shooting. Its smooth action and exceptional craftsmanship earned the Model 12 the nickname "The Perfect Repeater."
Chambered for 20 Gauge 2.75 inch shells, this shotgun currently has a 24.5 inch Cylinder bore barrel. It should be noted that the barrel has been shortened from its original 26 inch length, though it retains its desirable solid rib. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 8 out of 10, indicating solid internal condition with good bore quality. The action functions correctly.
The furniture rates in Very Good Plus condition with light handling wear and attractive presentation. This shotgun retains approximately 80% of its original metal finish, showing honest wear consistent with field and sporting use.
