Remington Arms-Union Metallic Cartridge Co. Black Powder .38 S&W Special Central Fire Collectible Ammunition
This a red label red ball box,the ball is outlined in white, with Remington Arms-Union Metallic Cartridge Co. Label with Union Metallic Cartridge Works address. The callout is ".38 S&W Special Central Fire Cartridges". Additional callout on the side label "Specially Adapted for Smith & Wesson New Military and Colt Other Model Arms". The end label is marked ".38 S&W Special Black Powder". There is a picture of the round and "Rem-UMC" headstamp. The box is in Good condition and has been opened and is a little soiled with frayed corners. The ammo is Good with bright brass and little oxidation. This a Rare box, post 1911 yet loaded with Black Powder.
