US Army troops and US Marines of WW2 were issued a specially designed canvas case to keep the M-1 Carbine well protected from the elements. Many of those cases were lengthened to accommodate the M-1 Garand as well, making any unmodified short Carbine case quite scarce today. This US Army USMC Marine WW2 M-1 Carbine OD Canvas Carry Case is in Excellent Condition, with only some light scattered whitish spot soiling and age wear evident. Most interestingly, it's "U.S." stamped at the upper front, boasts a fully functional "CROWN / USA" metal top zipper with an OD cotton web pull and brown leather tabs at the ends of the track, and is stamped at the interior upper back with its maker and date, "M.-D. MFG. CO. / 1944". It sports a fully intact OD web shoulder strap, remains in the scarce, unmodified short Carbine configuration, and is a beautiful example of a rare, original US Army USMC Marine WW2 M-1 Carbine OD Canvas Carry Case.
