Good Condition. Some sharpening to the blade edge. Moderate patina to the 9 3/8" clip point bowie blade. Some loosening to the brass "S" guard. A 5/8" hairline surface crack in the upper right rosewood handle scale. Dates to ca. 1966-67 by the "WESTERN / BOWIE / U.S.A." marking at the ricasso. Missing the handle retention strap from the original brown leather sheath, which also has a period riveted and reinforced end tip.
