Sights/Optics: The front sight is a blade fixed to a base with a serrated face screwed into the barrel. The rear sight is a fully adjustable Redfield aperture screwed into the left of the receiver. There are two pairs of filled taps on the barrel for mounting an optic, though none is present.
Grip/Stock Configuration & Condition: The furniture is smooth wood with a semi pistol grip, straight comb, forend with accessory rail, and a checkered metal buttplate. The furniture shows scattered pressure dings, drag lines, and scratches. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 13.5" from the face of the trigger to the butt. The buttplate only has light edge wear. The left side of the stock bears the FJA and Ordnance Department acceptance cartouche. Overall, the furniture rates in Very Good Plus condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is mostly bright and the rifling is sharp. There is very light erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, the bores rate 8.5 out of 10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 85% of its original metal finish. The finish shows light scratches scattered throughout with a few spots of light surface oxidation. The action shows standard operational wear. The screw heads show little to no tooling and retain turnable slots. The markings are clear and complete. Overall, this firearm is in Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this firearm. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
