Markings: The right side of the barrel is marked “S&W .357 MAGNUM.” The right side of the frame is marked with the "Marcas Registradas" trademark. The left side of the barrel is marked “SMITH & WESSON.” The left side of the frame bears the S&W monogram. The butt is marked with the serial number. The inside of the crane cut is marked with the serial number and the model designation.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated ramp with a red insert. The rear sight is a micro-click adjustable square notch sight.

Grip Configuration & Condition: The grips are black Hogue Monogrip rubber stocks with combat-style finger grooves. The grips show light handling wear and rate in about Excellent condition.

Cylinder: This revolver features a 7-shot fluted cylinder. There is a visible turn line on the cylinder, consistent with light use.

Type of Finish: Stainless Steel

Finish Originality: Original

Bore Condition: The bore is bright, the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore but there is stubborn fouling throughout. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 10/10.

Overall Condition: This revolver retains about 98% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows light scuffs and handling marks, with some minor drag lines inside the frame and a turn line on the cylinder. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this revolver rates in about Fine condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this revolver. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
