Sights / Optics: The front sight is a red ramp blade pinned to a serrated ramp base. The rear sight is a fully adjustable square notch sight mounted to the top strap.

Grip Configuration & Condition: The revolver is fitted with Pachmayr rubber grips. The grips provide excellent traction and control, showing minimal handling wear. They rate in Excellent overall condition.

Finish Originality: Original

Bore Condition: The bore is bright, the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion. There is stubborn fouling in the grooves. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 8.5/10.

Overall Condition: This revolver retains about 96% of its original stainless steel finish. There are burn marks on the front of the cylinder and stubborn fouling in the flutes. A light turn line is visible on the cylinder. The screw heads are sharp, and the markings are crisp and well-defined. The cylinder locks up tightly with minimal play. Overall, this revolver rates in Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The double-action trigger pull is smooth, and the single-action break is crisp. We did not fire this revolver. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
