Markings: The top of the receiver is marked “FG-42” and “0202”, along with period-style German ordnance proofs and codes. These markings are cosmetic and meant to replicate the appearance of the original wartime rifles.

Sights / Optics: Equipped with a new production ZF K43-style scope mounted on a correct-style side rail. The optic has clear glass, leather lens covers, and a cork eyepiece plug. The rifle is also fitted with a hooded front post and drum-adjustable rear peep sight.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The rifle is stocked in laminated wood with a period-correct profile and coloration. The ribbed walnut handguard and brown plastic checkered pistol grip complete the wartime aesthetic. There are only minor handling marks. The stock rates in Excellent condition.

Magazine Quantity & Condition: Includes four 20-round magazines. All are marked and finished to match the rifle. Condition is Excellent overall.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 10/10.

Overall Condition: The rifle retains about 99% of its original finish. Metal parts show minimal wear. The scope mount, bipod, and dust covers are all tight and correctly installed. Wood components are clean with only minor handling evidence. Overall condition is Excellent.
