Handcrafted by the premier mid-century Southern California outfit Wal-Mar Custom Leather, this "two-gun" presentation rig showcases extraordinary craftsmanship. The expansive 4-inch-wide belt drop features deep, masterfully executed floral scrollwork seamlessly integrated with hidden wildlife iconography, including leaping deer silhouettes across both the belt and holster pouches. The entire rig is constructed of 100% premium cowhide, featuring hand-tooled accent work throughout and framed meticulously by tight, hand-bound leather perimeter buckstitch lacing. The reverse side reveals a pristine plush suede lining hosting the original custom woven cloth label reading: "Made Especially FOR YOU BY WAL-MAR". Proving its personal intimacy, the center back of the belt is permanently monogrammed with the hand-tooled initials "SE", representing the legal initials of Sidney and Elena Caesar, his beloved wife of over 60 years.
Unlike standard matching sets, this single-caliber rig was custom-tailored as an asymmetric, fast-draw "Hollywood" setup to accommodate two completely different barrel configurations of the iconic Single Action Army (SAA) revolver:

Condition Report
Very Good / Historical "As-Found" Condition. The main leather body remains incredibly supple with a rich, even honey-tan patina. The hand-tooling remains remarkably crisp. Expected age-related wear is present: the 3" holster drop loop shows localized lacing separation/unraveling at its high-stress upper corner junction, and the 5.5" holster is missing its leather retention strap (mounting points remain cleanly intact). The tip of the belt tongue shows minor superficial fraying at the lacing tie-off point.

This lot is accompanied by its original Certificate of Authenticity issued by the late, nationally renowned historical arms authority John R. Gangel, President of Little John's Auction Service (Orange, CA).
