This lot features a Heiser No. 731 flap holster designed for a 7.5" Colt Single Action Army revolver. Heiser of Denver, Colorado was one of the most respected makers of Western holsters and saddlery during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Their holsters were favored by working cowboys, lawmen, and outdoorsmen and are recognized today for their high quality leather work and classic Western styling.

The holster is constructed of brown leather and features a fully tooled floral pattern across the body and flap. The edge of the holster is laced in the traditional Western style and the interior is lined with chamois leather to help protect the revolver's finish. The rear of the holster is stamped "Heiser Denver" with the model number "731" above the maker mark. The flap secures with a brass snap closure.

Condition shows expected age and handling wear with scattered scuffs and surface marks to the leather. There is light verdigris visible around the brass snap hardware.
