Sights/Optics: The front sight is a raised blade with a white dot screwed into the barrel. The rear sight is an adjustable square notch screwed into the barrel. The receiver is grooved for an optic, though none is present.

Grip/Stock Configuration & Condition: The furniture is one piece nylon with a straight comb, checkered semi-pistol grip, checkered forend, and a serrated buttplate with Remington patent numbers. The buttplate has faint handling wear. The furniture shows only some minor scratches and drag lines. The LOP measures 13.5" from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. There are no chips or cracks. The furniture rates in Fine condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is mostly bright and the rifling is sharp. There is faint erosion at the muzzle end of the bore. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 9/10.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 97% of its original finish. The finish shows only some light surface scratches, none of which go through the finish. The screw heads are unmarred and retain turnable slots. The markings are clear and complete. Overall, this rifle rates in Fine condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this firearm. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
