Stock Configuration & Condition: The grip is one-piece smooth walnut. There is no notable handling wear. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grip rates in Excellent condition.

Finish Originality: Original

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer's opinion the bore rates 9/10.

Overall Condition: This revolver retains about 95% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows light handling wear. There is thinning on the leading edges. There is oxidation concentrated at the muzzle end. There is a small area of fine pitting on the left side of the barrel. There are a few minor scratches. The markings are clear. The screw heads are sharp. Overall, this revolver rates in Fine condition.

Mechanics: The action is tight and crisp. The hammer holds securely at half- and full-cock, the cylinder indexes properly, and the trigger breaks cleanly. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
