Sights/Optics: The front sight is a brass bead fixed to the end of the barrel.

Grip/Stock Configuration & Condition: The two piece wood stock has a straight comb, checkered semi-pistol grip, checkered forend with finger grooves, and a synthetic Limbsaver recoil pad. There is light wear present with pressure dings, scuffs, and scratches. The LOP measures 14" from the face of the trigger to the rear of the pad. There are no chips or cracks. Overall the furniture is in Fine condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright with minimal streaking. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 10/10.

Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 92% of its metal finish. The receiver has finish loss on the top, some light freckling, and notable scratches on the right side. The magazine tube has finish wear from operational use. The barrel has notable freckling on the lower left side where it meets the receiver. The markings are clear and complete. Overall, this shotgun rates in Very Good to Fine condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this firearm. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: This is a well preserved example of High Standard's Deluxe grade pump action shotgun, retaining approximately 92% of its original finish. The metal surfaces show fairly strong coverage with light handling wear, and the stock presents clean lines and finish consistent with light use. The 28" barrel gives the shotgun a classic sporting profile and a long, smooth sighting plane, while the fixed Modified choke offers versatile patterning suitable for upland hunting and general sporting use.

Mechanically, the shotgun is excellent. The bore rates a perfect 10 out of 10, bright and clean throughout, indicating only light use. The action functions correctly with the smooth, positive pump stroke that made the Flite King series well regarded for reliability and durability. Lockup and cycling are solid, and overall handling is balanced and predictable.

Historically, the Flite King Deluxe models represent High Standard's effort to offer upgraded pump shotguns during the 1960s, combining dependable mechanics with improved fit and finish. These shotguns were popular with hunters and sportsmen who wanted a reliable field gun with a bit more refinement than base utility models. In this level of condition, this K1211 stands as a strong representative of mid century American pump shotgun craftsmanship.
