Sights / Optics: The front sight is a white dotted blade fixed to the slide. The rear sight is a rectangular notch sight with white outline of the notch, dovetailed to the slide. The slide is optic cut for RMR front and rear posts. The slide is fitted with a Trijicon RMR Type 2 Red Dot Sight. The sight functions properly.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The grip is one-piece black Polymer integral to the frame with checkered flanks and straps. There are no cracks or chips. The checkering remains sharp. There is light handling wear. The grip and frame are in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer's opinion the bore rates 9.75/10.

Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows little operational wear. There is finish loss on the front of the barrel hood. The finish is strong and complete. The pins are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Our Assessment: A late-production Gen5 MOS example of Glock’s hybrid duty platform, the G47 was originally developed for U.S. Customs and Border Protection and pairs a full-length G17-pattern slide with a shorter G45-style frame, delivering a balance of sight radius, recoil control, and handling efficiency. Chambered in 9mm and fed from standard double-stack magazines, this configuration is widely regarded as one of Glock’s more versatile service layouts, particularly when paired with the Modular Optic System cut. The presence of a mounted Trijicon RMR Type 2 further elevates its readiness as a defensive or duty optic setup, offering a proven enclosed reflex solution on a duty-capable platform.

This example presents in Excellent overall condition, retaining approximately 99% finish with only minor operational wear noted at the barrel hood, consistent with light use. The bore remains bright with sharp rifling and rates 9.75/10, and mechanics are reported to function correctly. Included accessories are complete and desirable, featuring the factory case, manual, three 17-round magazines, backstraps, and cleaning components.
