Sights/Optics: The front sight is a bladed post dovetailed to the barrel. The rear sight is a u-notch sliding escalator fixed to the barrel.
Grip/Stock Configuration & Condition: The wooden two piece pot belly stock features barrel bands, front and rear sling ring, spliced-on forend, finger grooves, and smooth metal buttplate. The buttplate has light to moderate handling wear. The furniture shows pressure dings and some old blemishes from before sanding and refinishing. The LOP is 13.5" from the face of the trigger to the rear of the buttplate. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the furniture in Very Good condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp with light fouling. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 9.5/10.
Overall Condition: This firearm retains about 85% of its original metal finish. The finish shows edge wear, light scratches, and some thinning on the receiver. The markings are clear and complete. The screw heads show light tooling and retain turnable slots. Overall, this firearm rates in Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this firearm. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: This Finnish Tikkakoski Jalkavaenkivaari M91/30 was manufactured in 1944 and qualifies as a Curio and Relic firearm. Produced by Tikkakoski during the Continuation War, the Finnish M91/30 represents Finland's refinement of the Soviet Mosin-Nagant design. Finnish armorers were renowned for their meticulous craftsmanship, producing rifles with superior barrels, improved triggers, and exceptional accuracy compared to many of their Soviet counterparts. Tikkakoski-produced military rifles are especially sought after by collectors due to their relatively limited wartime production and outstanding quality.
Chambered in 7.62x54R with a 28.75 inch barrel, this rifle utilizes the proven Mosin-Nagant bolt-action system that served Finland with distinction throughout World War II.
