Markings: The right side of the frame is marked “DAN WESSON ARMS / MONSON, MASS, U.S.A. / 5242”. The right side of the barrel shroud is marked “DAN WESSON ARMS / CAL.22 LR”.
Barrel Length: 6” Vent rib with heavy underlug.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated ramped blade with orange insert, pinned to the vent-rib. The rear sight is a fully adjustable rectangular notch with white outline.
Stock Configuration & Condition: This pistol is equipped with an oversized checkered target grip from Dan Wesson. The grip shows a few minor compressions and surface level lines. There are no chips or cracks. Overall the grip is in about Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9.25/10
Overall Condition: This revolver retains about 98% of its metal finish. The barrel shroud and frame show some scattered surface level lines and minor scratches with a notable series on the bottom of the shroud just behind the muzzle. The back strap shows some light surface rust freckling. The cylinder shows a thin crisp turn line from use. The inside of the action shows some very light carbon fouling. The markings are clear and the screw heads are sharp. Overall the revolver is in Fine+ condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements. The mechanics are Excellent. The trigger is very light, smooth and crisp. The timing is good and the lockup is mostly tight with a minimal amount of play.
