Grip Configuration & Condition: The grips are one-piece smooth walnut. They retain a rich, deep finish with minor handling marks. The grips rate in Excellent overall condition.

Finish Originality: Original

Bore Condition: The bore is bright, the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion, fouling, or wear present. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 10/10.

Overall Condition: This revolver retains about 98% of its metal finish. There is slight thinning at the edges of the barrel and minor handling marks on the frame. The blue remains deep, and the case colors are vibrant with only slight muting in some areas. The brass trigger guard and backstrap have developed a light patina. The screw heads are sharp, and the markings are crisp and well-defined. Overall, this revolver is in Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The cylinder rotates and locks securely with no issues. The hammer has a strong spring, and the trigger is crisp. We did not fire this revolver. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
