Sights/Optics: The front sight is a serrated blade dovetailed into the slide. The rear sight is a square notch with a serrated face dovetailed into the slide, adjustable for windage and elevation.

Grip/Stock Configuration & Condition: The grip is a one piece wrap-around checkered synthetic Crimson Trace grip. The integral grip laser still lights up. The grips show minimal wear. There are no chips or cracks. There is an enlarged and extended magazine release installed. There is an extended slide stop and safety installed. There is a flared magwell integral to the A1-style mainspring housing. This furniture rates in Excellent condition.

Type of Finish: Stainless

Finish Originality: Original to the parts. Aftermarket parts have been installed including the Nowlin barrel.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 10/10.

Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 98% of its metal finish. There is light wear present with only scattered scuffs from handling and operation. The markings are clear and complete. Overall, this pistol rates in about Fine condition as customized.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this firearm. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: This pistol presents in Fine overall condition, retaining approximately 98% of its original stainless finish. The exterior surfaces are clean and evenly finished with light handling evidence only, and the classic Target profile remains sharp and well defined. The full size 5" configuration provides the traditional sight radius and balance favored for controlled, accurate shooting with the powerful 10mm Auto cartridge.

Mechanically, the pistol is excellent. The bore rates a perfect 10 out of 10 with bright steel and sharp rifling. The action functions correctly with smooth cycling and positive lockup. This example is fitted with two piece wrap around checkered synthetic Crimson Trace grips, and the integral grip laser remains functional and illuminates properly, adding a practical aiming aid without compromising ergonomics.

The pistol has been thoughtfully upgraded with shooter oriented enhancements. An enlarged and extended magazine release is installed for quicker reloads. An extended slide stop and extended safety improve control manipulation, and a flared magazine well integrated into an A1 style mainspring housing aids in faster, more consistent magazine insertion. These upgrades complement the Target configuration and are well suited to the recoil and handling characteristics of the 10mm chambering.
