The buttplate has moderate handling wear. The furniture shows scattered pressure dings, drag lines, and scratches. The LOP measures 14.25" from the front trigger, and 13.5" from the rear trigger to the back of the buttplate. There is a faint crack starting to form at the upper tang. The furniture rates in Good condition.

The screw heads range from unmarred to lightly tooled and retain turnable slots. The markings are clear and complete. Overall, this shotgun rates in Very Good condition.

Hammerless .410 bore doubles from this period remain desirable due to their light weight, graceful handling, and relative scarcity.
Chambered for .410 Bore with 26 inch barrels, this shotgun was originally manufactured with 2.5 inch chambers that have since been lengthened to accept 3 inch shells. The right barrel measures Improved Modified, while the left barrel measures Modified, providing a versatile choke combination for small game and upland hunting. In this writer's opinion, the bores rate 9 out of 10, indicating strong internal condition with light evidence of use. The action functions correctly.
