Sights/Optics: The front sight is a beaded blade dovetailed into the barrel. The rear sight is an adjustable elevation u-notch dovetailed into the barrel.
Grip/Stock Configuration & Condition: The furniture is two piece wood with a straight comb, straight wrist grip,17-rib forend, and a checkered synthetic Winchester buttplate. The buttplate has light wear with a small chip taken from the top. The wood only shows some minor pressure dings and surface scratches. The LOP measures 13.25" from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. There are no chips or cracks in the wood. The furniture rates in Fine condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp with a tiny spot of copper fouling at the muzzle. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of it's original finish. The finish shows a few minor scratches and light operational wear. The screw heads are unmarred and retain turnable slots. Overall, this rifle rates in Fine Plus condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this firearm. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: This complete boxed Winchester Model 62A Gallery Gun was manufactured in 1956 and qualifies as a Curio and Relic firearm. Produced by Winchester Repeating Arms, the Model 62A became one of the finest hammerless pump-action rimfire rifles ever manufactured. The Gallery Gun variant was specifically configured for commercial shooting galleries, chambered exclusively for .22 Short cartridges and equipped to use a special loading tube for rapid operation. Complete examples retaining their original accessories and packaging are seldom encountered and are highly desirable among Winchester collectors.
