Sights/Optics: The iron sights have been removed. An empty dovetail slot remains at the muzzle and two unfilled taps remain forward of the action. The receiver is grooved and a Leupold VX-III 1.5-5x20mm scope is mounted to it. The glass is clear and the optic rates in Very Good condition.

Grip/Stock Configuration & Condition: The one piece wood furniture has a straight comb, checkered semi-pistol grip, checkered forend, and a serrated synthetic Zastava buttplate. There is light wear present with infrequent pressure dings, scuffs, and scratches. The LOP measures 14" from the face of the trigger to the rear of the butt. There are no chips or cracks. Overall the furniture is in Fine condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp with light fouling. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 9.5/10.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. The finish shows minimal wear. The markings are clear and complete. Overall, this rifle rates in Fine condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this firearm. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: This is an exceptional example of the Superior II rimfire, retaining approximately 99% of its original finish. The metal surfaces are clean and even with minimal handling wear, and the stock presents sharp lines and a refined appearance consistent with careful ownership. The 22" barrel gives the rifle a classic sporting profile and a steady sight radius, it has been threaded for muzzle devices, and the mounted Leupold scope provides a high quality, clear optic that complements the rifle's accuracy oriented design.

Mechanically, the rifle is excellent. The bore rates 9.5 out of 10 with bright steel and sharp rifling, indicating very light use. The action functions correctly with smooth bolt travel and positive lockup, reflecting the solid machining and assembly associated with Zastava produced sporting rifles. Balance and handling are calm and deliberate, well suited to precision rimfire shooting.
