Sights/Optics: The front sight is a beaded blade with a serrated face dovetailed into to the barrel. The rear sight is an adjustable folding u-notch dovetailed into the barrel. There are a pair of filled taps in the barrel just forward of the receiver. No optic is included.
Grip/Stock Configuration & Condition: The furniture is two piece wood with a straight comb, skip-line checkered semi-pistol grip, skip-line checkered forend, and a serrated metal buttplate. The buttplate shows very light handling wear. The furniture shows minor scattered pressure dings. The LOP measures 13.75" from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. There are no chips or cracks. The furniture rates in Fine condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp with faint fouling. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 9.5/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of its original metal finish. The only notable blemishes in the finish are some scratches on the barrel. The screw heads are unmarred and retain turnable slots. The markings and engravings are clear and complete. Overall, this rifle rates in Fine Plus condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this firearm. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: This Browning SA-22 Grade III was manufactured in 1980 and represents one of the finest modern renditions of John M. Browning's legendary rimfire rifle. Produced by Miroku for Browning, the SA-22 has remained in continuous production for well over a century thanks to its innovative bottom-loading, bottom-ejecting action, exceptional reliability, and quick takedown design. Chambered in .22 Long Rifle with a 19.375 inch barrel, this semi-automatic takedown rifle is ideally suited for target shooting, plinking, and small game hunting.
