Sights/Optics: The front sight is a beaded blade with a serrated face dovetailed into to the barrel. The rear sight is an adjustable folding u-notch dovetailed into the barrel. There are a pair of filled taps in the barrel just forward of the receiver. No optic is included.
Grip/Stock Configuration & Condition: The furniture is two piece wood with a straight comb, checkered semi-pistol grip, checkered forend, and a serrated metal buttplate. The buttplate shows no notable wear. The furniture shows a couple minor pressure dings and a few minor cracks in the finish itself. The LOP measures 13.75" from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. There are no chips or cracks. The furniture rates in Fine condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of its original metal finish. The finish shows some scratches through the receivers clear coat that have oxidized. There is also some freckling on the bolt. The screw heads show little to no tooling and retain turnable slots. The markings and engravings are clear and complete. Overall, this rifle rates in Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this firearm. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: This Belgian Browning SA-22 Grade II was manufactured in 1971 and qualifies as a Curio and Relic firearm. Designed by John M. Browning and produced by Fabrique Nationale Herstal for Browning, the SA-22 is one of the longest-produced semi-automatic rimfire rifles in history.
