Grip/Stock Configuration & Condition: The furniture is two piece synthetic with a straight comb, checkered semi-pistol grip, checkered forend, and a checkered synthetic buttpad. The buttpad shows minimal wear. A two piece mounting point with picatinny rail sections is fixed around the magazine tube. The furniture shows no notable blemishes. The LOP measures 14" from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. There are no chips or cracks. The furniture rates in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright with light streaking. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 9.5/10.

Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 98% of its original metal finish. The finish shows very light operational wear and faint handling marks. The pins are unmarred and remain fully functional. The markings are clear and complete. Overall, this shotgun rates in Fine condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this firearm. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: This Browning BPS was manufactured in 2007 and represents one of the finest pump-action shotgun designs of the modern era. Produced by Browning, the BPS (Browning Pump Shotgun) is well known for its bottom-loading, bottom-ejecting design, making it equally suitable for right- and left-handed shooters. The robust steel receiver and smooth action have helped the BPS earn a reputation for reliability and durability.
