Good Condition. A 5 3/4" wrinkle that gradually develops into a surface tear running from the middle left hand side edge to the middle left hand bottom edge. A small hole in the upper left hand side. A small tear in the upper right hand side. Features a great original 9 3/16" x 7 3/16" studio photograph of Buffalo Bill in full Western garb, which is hand signed "W.F. Cody / "Buffalo Bill" / To. Mother Bond / 1913" in beautiful flowing cursive along the lower front. The accompanying March 20, 1998 dated letter of authenticity from the Buffalo Bill Historical Center for this piece states: "I’m very happy to tell you it is a genuine W.F. Cody signature. The Mother Bond he mentions is the mother of his nephew’s wife." Both pieces remain finely matted in matching 14" x 11" metal frames. A wonderful lot from one of the preeminent figures of the Old West.
