This lot features a vintage Abercrombie & Fitch leather revolver holster, model No. 1909, designed for right handed carry of medium frame revolvers with approximately 4" barrels. The holster is constructed of brown leather with decorative hand carved floral patterns across the body and retention strap. The edges are finished with contrasting rawhide lacing, a feature commonly seen on quality western holsters of the mid 20th century. The front of the holster is stamped with the Abercrombie & Fitch circular logo above the model designation "1909", along with a hand stamp reading "38/44" and "4" indicating the intended revolver size.

The holster features leather retention strap with snap closure secures the revolver over the back of the trigger guard. The interior shows normal use wear consistent with holster carry and handling. Abercrombie & Fitch was well known during the early to mid 20th century for offering high quality sporting goods and leather equipment, frequently contracting with respected western leather makers to produce holsters and other field gear.
