This pair of vintage western leather chaps was produced by Stone's Saddlery of Livingston, Montana, and dates to approximately the 1950s. The chaps are constructed from heavy brown leather with decorative studded trim throughout, accented by silver conchos with leather tassels along the outer legs. The lower portions of the legs are decorated with playing card suit motifs formed from studs, including hearts, diamonds, clubs, and spades, giving the set a strong mid-century western rodeo and cowboy aesthetic. The waistband is adjustable and measures roughly 33.5" to 40". The inseam measures approximately 29", the outside leg measures about 37", and the thigh opening measures approximately 23".

The chaps remain in Good condition with expected wear from age and use. The leather shows handling marks, scuffs, scratches, creasing, and areas of finish wear throughout. The studwork and conchos remain largely intact and display an attractive aged patina. The middle clasp on the right leg is broken, though the remaining clasps are fully functional. Overall, this is an attractive and authentic vintage western accessory from a respected Montana saddlery maker, with strong display appeal and classic cowboy styling.
