This lot features a WWII era German Feuerschutzpolizei (Fire Protection Police) Model 1934 civic helmet. The M34 helmet pattern was widely used by various civil defense and emergency services throughout the Third Reich, including the Feuerschutzpolizei, which served as the organized fire protection service under the Ordnungspolizei. These helmets were designed for municipal and civil protection duties and differed from standard military Stahlhelm patterns with their smoother dome profile and distinctive ventilation pattern.

The helmet retains its double decal configuration. One side displays the Feuerschutzpolizei police-style eagle within a shield, while the opposite side retains the fire service shield decal with swastika motif.

The steel shell shows scattered spots of oxidation, scuffs, and scratches consistent with service use and age. The interior liner is no longer present. Overall, this example represents a recognizable civil defense helmet associated with Germany's wartime fire protection service during the Second World War.
