Our Assessment: This Windham Weaponry WW-15 was manufactured between 2011 and the present and represents a high-quality AR-15 pattern rifle built by one of the companies most closely associated with the original Bushmaster manufacturing heritage. Produced by Windham Weaponry, the WW-15 is known for its dependable direct impingement operating system, quality components, and solid fit and finish. The company was founded by the original owner of Bushmaster after its sale, bringing many experienced employees back to the Windham, Maine facility.
Chambered in 5.56mm NATO with a 16 inch barrel, this rifle is well suited for recreational shooting, training, competition, and defensive applications. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 9.5 out of 10, indicating excellent internal condition with strong rifling. The action functions correctly.
The furniture rates in Excellent condition with minimal visible handling wear. This rifle retains approximately 99% of its original finish, presenting in near-new condition.
