This lot consists of two sealed boxes of Winchester Super-X .32 Winchester Special ammunition, each loaded with 170 grain Silvertip controlled expanding bullets. Introduced in 1901 alongside the Winchester Model 94, the .32 Winchester Special was designed as a versatile hunting cartridge offering slightly larger bore diameter than the .30-30 while maintaining similar ballistic performance. Winchester's Silvertip line, introduced in the early 20th century, became well known for its engineering to provide reliable expansion and effective terminal performance on medium game.
