Sights / Optics: The front sight is a Patridge style blade integral to a serrated ramped base which is in line dovetailed and screw-set to the front of the barrel. The rear sight is a square notch adjustable for windage and elevation in a base screwed to the rear of the barrel extension.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The grip is a Walther-branded Morini Competition right-hand target grip with contoured, textured grip area and adjustable palm-shelf. The grip has minor handling wear and a few scattered light marks. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grip is in Fine-plus condition.

Finish Originality: Original

Bore Condition: The bore is bright with sharp rifling. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 10/10.

Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 97% of its metal finish. There are a few scattered minor scuffs and light handling marks. The action shows operational wear. The screw heads are tool marked with strong slots. The markings are clear. Overall, this pistol is in Fine condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes in a blue cardboard Walther box with serial-matching label and a total of three 5-round magazines.

Our Assessment: This is a Walther OSP 2000 target pistol chambered in .22 Short. The pistol has a great balance to it and nice sight picture with the wide rear sight. The trigger is extremely crisp. These pistols were built specifically for international and Olympic Rapid Fire Competition. The OSP 2000 is chambered in the low recoil .22 short cartridge to keep shooters on target between shots and even with this light round, the barrel is ported to keep motion to a minimum. A great buy for the collector or shooter, this pistol would make a good addition to a target pistol or Walther collection but would also be a good gun for someone looking to get into Rapid Fire matches.
